Paragraph:

Category: Issue for edition 2 of this part

Issue: When a HSR RedBox in HSR-PRP mode sends supervision on behalf a SAN behind its interlink, this supervision frame is visible in both PRP LANs.

Inside the HSR network, the SAN looks like a HSR VDAN (which is correct). But the supervision frames also reach both PRP LANs, so from the point of view of the PRP LAN, the SAN now seems to have a redundant connection, which is wrong.

Proposal: When a HSR RedBox in HSR-PRP mode sends supervision on behalf a SAN (but not when sending its own supervision), it must send only towards the HSR Ring (not towards the interlink, as it usually would), and it must set the HSR path field (not the Supervision path field) to the same value that would be used if the frame had originated from the PRP LAN behind the interlink.

This means that the NetId must match the NetId of the PRP network, so it will be blocked from ever going towards that network by both HSR-PRP RedBoxes that are attached to that network.
