Issue: There are applications in which the delay difference between LAN A and LAN B can be quite large (e.g. WAN over 100 km), and at the same time the frame size can be very short (10 Gbit/s), so a large number of frames are simultaneously in the network. The sequence number is large enough, but the aging time could be insufficient.

Proposal: To account for this, a recommendation should be to make the aging time a configurable value and include it into the management interface.
